great location, right at the heart of Florence
Albergo Firenze is an average hotel the room was decorated (?) with old furniture, the place definitely needs serious renovation, the breakfast was rather poor, overpriced for the services provided

The location, but this is not a point for the hotel, because Florence is really small, and all the hotels are near from everywhere.
The worst room, and the worst hotel that I was ever and ever.

The location is great, right in the center of town near an art museum, the food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly efficient and helpful.

I liked the staff at the hotel. They were very informative and helpful. I did not know about the curfew of car in this old city but the staff managed to help me sort out our car problem. I like the location of this hotel as it was very near the shopping area (by my standards because we were so tired of walking already). There are a couple of good restaurants very near this hotel. The rooms were fair.
No internet in the rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Firenze very much! The location was fantastic! It was very clean. The receptionist Barbara was particularly helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Albergo Firenze!
The only complaint we had was the shower doors needed some repair.

In the room, you'll find central heating to keep you warm, an in-room safe for your valuables, and a TV with multiple channels. the bed is super comfy, and you'll also enjoy a lovely view of the courtyard from the window. 😊

Location is excellent, so close to all places you want to see and shops, all in walking distance. Good breakfast It had a lift!!, as some hotels you have to walk up stairs.
The Shower was a bit small

This place is comfortably located in the best spot for visiting a medieval cathedral that is not too far away.

Quiet little and stunningly beautiful place, I enjoyed courteous personnel.
The rooms were big size and had hypoallergenic pillows. Had such facilities, like central heating, a work desk and TV. The location was great - ease of access to a medieval cathedral...

The hotel of choice in Florence. Fairly clean place with courtyard views and very, very nice and courteous staff. Great location in a crowded area walk from a cathedral and a church. Walk from cafés and bars. Exceptionally comfortable beds, central heating, a work desk and TV in the room. Satisfactory breakfast, lots of meals.
Very unfriendly staff!

I am a writer, 71 years old. I stayed in Albergo Firenze the first time in 1949, then I have stayed there in 1952,1953,1955,1958,1962,1964, and so forth. I have lived there for months, last the autumn 1981 and have written two of my novels there. Subsequently I have a very special affinity to this hotel. The simple not touristic style I have always appreciated, just as the location in the heart of the city. All this is of course still there
I did not like the room I got, I did not like that it was worn down in a shabby way. The walls in the room were full of marks, lots of details did not function properly. Simply spoken: It had lost its old charm.

Easy to find, the Taxi driver knew about the place. Cenrally located and witin walking distance to the train station and most other points of interest. Front Desk Staff was friendly and spoke English very well (We did not have an opportunity to speak to the other staff). Elevator was available to go to the floor where the room was, no need to walk up the stairs. Clean inside and out, very presentable and inviting. In the room, the windows (2 of them) could be closed so if the street noise was not desired we could simply close them and not hear it.
Internet access was available, however, not in a room on the 3rd floor. This is noted in the hotel information book in the room as well. In order to use the Wi-Fi we had to go down to the lobby/lounge area. Shower enclosure fell apart at one corner. No refrigerator in the room - would have been nice to have a small one
